Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is a no brainer but i have recently purchase a new kitchen exhaust fan. It is the slide out type and has two choices for an exit, at the rear and the top. The exit holes are a rectagular shape and are 280mm by 95mm. does any one know where to find such a duct or am i missing something? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can buy suitable ductwork at Bunnies. Whoever sold you the unit should either carry it or at least point you in the right direction.

I know Bunnies stock an adapter to convert it to the round duct, which is a lot cheaper. 'Cos that's where we bought ours.

Just so you know the peice your looking for is called a "transition piece". I am surprised the place you bought it didn't give you one with it? They don't cost much anyway.

cheers.

Sounds like a Qasair / Condor rangehood. Ducting is available from their website.

see here http://www.qasair.com.au/ducted.html

thanks for all your help guys that's very helpful. I brought the item scratch and dent so didn't come with the extra's. I will have a look in bunnings to price their ducts. That link seems to be on the money too, so cheers everyone. Robbie
