I've used Monocell on an outdoor address plaque made from Tassie Oak but did not use the marine version. It has been outside (not in a marine environment, North East Victoria) for a year during a very hot summer and still looks as good as the day it went up.
I would expect the Marine Gold Monocell to be even more durable. If i need to re-coat mine even every two years i would call it a pretty good result. Its in direct sunlight and in a very harsh environment during summer (up to and sometimes over 40deg).
Gave it 2 to 3 coats. Went on very well.

resprayed the interior of a boat 2 years ago with monocell and its still the same but it hasnt been exposed to the weather .its the same old story with varnish on the outside, i think whatever you use ,gonna have to redo it every year or so.
