Hi guys , what would be the easiest way to replace a paving stone that has become loose on some steps . The cement that was originally used is still stuck to the back of the paver and also to the step itself . What im concerned about is that by putting more cement in there is going to make the step substantially higher than the ones next to it , or , that it is going to be vewry hard to get the old cement off the step and the paver as it is very thin now having been flattened and therefore really difficult to get any purchase on it . Are there any super strong adhesives that anyone would recommend for the job . Thanks

Best way is to get a hammer and cold chisel and get old concrete off both surfaces- it won;t be easy and you will have to be careful as to not break the paver, but in the long run, it'll be better to re-mortar it rather than do a cheap fix and use liquid nails or the like
