Breaker puzzle!

I am doing a bit of work in the kitchen which has required moving the oven so i thought i would flick it off at the distribution unit. I am a bit confused tho, now i am new to Oz (from the UK) but i didn`t think you guys had 415V domestic supply available, yet the cooker breaker has 415V printed on it (although the remainder are 240V).

I guess i am wondering why this might have been used of over a 240 unit and is it OK? I am aassuming it is mind you. Does it mean tho that for the given current rating it is capable of handling twice that at 240V (i think my maths is right but been a long time since i left school...):?

You can get 415V domestic supply but you need multiple phases.
The 415V writen on the breaker is just an insulation rating. The breaker trips by sensing the current flowing through it. It doesn't matter what voltage is applied. Having said that, don't use a CB on a voltage HIGHER than it is rated for. :o

Ah that makes sense, should have thought about it a bit more! Definitely not multiple phases tho.
