I glued a small sheet of vinyl using Kwik Grip to finish a section to left and above the stove top and there has been some bubbling/blistering, as per the pics. The trim piece is 670mm above the stovetop and 180mm to the left. It begs the obvious question, is heat likely to be the cause? I would have thought there was adequate separation.
For the repair, I will probably need to remove it, clean it up and figure some alternative. I do not want to retry glueing it if heat is the issue.
