Hi there,

I have just finished putting in a window and I am now up to putting quad around my window frame.

I am not sure exactly what it is called, but it's 19mm, flat front, angled at the back.

Does anyone know how to cut the angles to make a 90 degree corner??

Cheers.

Are we talking about a "picture frame" situation?

Manuals for compound mitre saws often have a table for setting the compound angle, based on the corner mitre and the bevel angle. But usually easier and more accurate to set the workpiece against the fence in its final relationship with respect to the wall (the bed mimics the wall), and cut with the ordinary mitre. This also works with an plain ol' mitre box and a back saw.
