How do I edit an old post?
Ive started a thread on a new box I'm making but just noticed a mistake in the type of timber I mentioned.
I understand I can edit a post just posted but how can I edit the first one in the thread now?
The edit button is not there anymore

The thread is titled
10DrawerJewelChestHasBegun
http://woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=55985
I accidentally typed Qeensland Wattle
It should be Qeensland Walnut
I think its mentioned twice in the first post
If someone could edit it for me that would be great thanks:D

Once 24hrs have passed you can't edit it, I think it's 24 hrs.
Only an Administrator or moderator can edit it now. If you fire off a PM to one of them, they might just be nice enough to do it for you

You can always post again soon as you realize your mistake in the same thread and tell everyone you made a mistake.:)
