I have been given a ship load of money for my birthday ( hapens every year ) and I don't know what to do with it. I had thought of getting the company car washed at a certain car wash near me, they give a hand wash usung young ladies who don't wear much at all ( almost nothing at all ). But the car will only get dirty again so I don't think that this will be value for money.

Or should I buy some tools instead? But what to buy I have more than I can ever need.

Any suggustions?

This causes me more confusion and emotion, you see last year my wife was pushed over at the Melbourne Woodwork Show by an old grey headed geratic old fart who wanted her out of the way so he could see something. My wife's health is a bit worse this year and she is now using a walking stick. I plan to give the show a big miss this year as the behaviour of these old farts I find appaling, and if the same thing happens this year, as happened last year, I think that I will shove her walking stick up some one where the sun does not shine.

But I know of lots of places where I can buy tools cheaper (factories).

But should I get my car washed or not? :?

Phill I can fix this. you need to come with me. I sometimes walk with a walking stick, I will be with my father who uses a scooter to get around, so we can make up a wall of cripples:U:U. Anyone gets in our way and we can beat them with our walking sticks:2tsup::2tsup:

Thanks for the offer may take it up. BTW does any one else notice this appaling behaviour or am I just being protective of my wife, and overly sensetive?

Nah I noticed it too, more so last year as I was still a little shaky myself, and even dad had issues getting around, You would think if you saw one of those carts you would get out of the way, or at least not jump in front of it then stop suddenly. they tend to hurt..:o:U

Hey Phil

I dont think you are being over sensitive...Ive noticed lately at any sort of exhibition/show that people just seem to be getting pushier...especially when free stuff is being handed out....SWMBO and I got shoved quite a few times at a Food and Wine festival by people trying to get to the wine samples :(( ...why cant they just buy a bottle, get smashed at home and leave the rest of us in piece  :D

cheers

Phil you are quite right about those pushy inconsiderate old pharts If I had my way everyone over 56 would be made to stay at home and leave the rest of us young folk to have fun.

All is not lost however ... you will find that, even though these oldies seem to be full of bravado when there is a demonstration of yet another sanding contraption happening... they are in fact very timid creatures who shy away from confrontation at all costs.

That's why I always go to WW shows in leather and chains. You will find that spiked purple hair and a safety pin through ones nose also tends to get them to keep their distance.

The hard part for you may be trying to get the missus to clobber up.:U
