A lady in her fifties believed she had finally plucked
up enough courage to ride a horse. This was to be
her day of glory and asked a few friends to come
and watch this great event.
She was no sooner on the horse when she began to
slip a little. A couple of moments later she pannicked
and began calling for help. As she began her slide
from the saddle her friends offered no comfort as they
laughed until tears came from their eyes.
There she was clinging on bravely, one foot in the
stirrup and clutching at the horse's mane. Finally one
of her friends came to her rescue.
She went into Safeways and got the manager to come
out and turn off the switch.
