I have that problem occasionally - it usually means that it has just rained heavily & the drains have overflowed thru' the shop & I have a inch or so of standing water inside :oo:

Just had a bit of a sweep today and found that my floor is concrete, I'd forgotten.

Naa not sick,
just neeeded some dry kindling for the heater.
Then I discovered that a lot of my scraps would be good pen blanks. :oo:
It is so clean now it was starting to look like the majors shed. :o
When I realised that I stopped cleaning up immediately. :D

every so often I clean up too. Get the garden blower in and blast it all out. Refind all those little bolts and bits and pieces from years past that I'd spent forever searching through the shavings for after dropping them from my bench....and since have replaced.

I know that feeling well. Built a 25' x 40' garage and since it was built it has been full of junk couldnt walk in the front without climbing over stuff. Had someholidays and built selving etc and now i have 25' x 20' clear concrete. Mate came over and said i should cut it into squares and sell it off while i can still see it !!!
The cheek of somepeople.
Reason for cleaning was brother inlaw finally got qualified as an electrician and we put up 6 5' long double flouros and also 6 double power points.
WOW the joy of modern convienience. Much better than 40 foot of extension cord.

I so need to do this myself - but somewhere buried in the shavings is the time that I need to do it, lost in the detritus of years of shed neglect.
