Hi All
We are thinking of laying a new wood floor over existing structural floor. Considering solid timbers ( maybe sydney blue gum ) or eng flooring ( NOT floating ) it will be installed by pros and not pre-finished.
has anyone had this done here? The main reason for eng floor option is we get lots of sun on 1 side of the house and there are HUGE gaps in current floor.
As a side question - is ironwood same as ironbark ? would either be good flooring alternatives ?
Thanks for your feedback
