I had the pleasure of becoming a father for the first time on friday night. :D A healthy baby boy weighing 9lb 6oz. 51cms long. Jaiden Micheal.
Swmbo and baby are doing really well. Hardly makes a noise over a quiet murmur and loves to be held. Been told the noise part will change lol.:p
No pics yet as the camera is still at the hospital.


We had a bit of bad news tonight though. :( Swmbo's sister had some sort of clot on the brain yesterday in Melbourne and collapsed. From what I can gather it caused a stroke or something similar. Not sure how bad though. They think it might of been caused when she gave birth a few weeks ago and flying to Melbourne might of triggered it. Can only wait and see what happens I suppose.

Congrats for young Jai, I have a nephew called Jayden. :2tsup:

Fingers crossed for the SO's sister.... weird coincidence but Jay lost his Aunt (his Mum's sister) the same way. :(

maybe our new sons will meet up some day.

Sorry to here about yr wifes sister, hope she comes good on that one.

Yep 9.6 is nice and healthy but SHMBO informes me its the head circumference that really counts in the boast stakes...don't ask me why:roll: .

Found out the SIL is ok.The fool she married overexagerated everything.:((
Turns out she did faint but did have tests today that cleared her of anything major thankfully. She will be able to fly home in a few days.

On head size 36.5cms. Dont think I would of liked to push that out. With a melon that size hopefully he will be smart and successful and will be able to support his old man in retirement.:D

Kiss life goodbye? Nah has just started to get interestin...:;
