blue board

Hi i have and existing colorbond fence that i want to vamp up using blueboard straight over the top. Will that be ok screwing the board straight to the fence and so you have to put a top on it or can you just leave it as 1 sheet along the fence if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.:)
