I get a lot of spam at work. A great deal of it gets picked up by work's spam filter but a fair bit still gets through, say about 30 emails a day.

This week I've had a heap of spam in Russian. :?

I mean, what is the point of sending Russian spam to a .au email address? :? :?

Sure, spam is computer generated but you'd think the programmer would be smart enough to only send it to Russian email addresses.

Has anybody else been receiving Russian spam?

I wonder what it is they're trying to sell/scam?

Simple. It costs nothing to send.

Send it to the world, you are only after the total idiots.

Getting an email in Russian may be just the thing to convince someone with a borderline personality disorder to track down your site (since it is Russian, it must be good????) and send you tons of money for no readily apparent reason. Its worth a try, anyway.

I don't think they've discovered it yet, but they will. Be afraid...

I've had Korean spam off and on for the last few years.
