Refinishing Baltic floor - oops

I think I might have done a bad thing - hopefully someone can bail me out. I've ripped up some old lino and in an attempt to lift the glue flooded the floor with turps ... Could this result in the finish being rejected. If so what is the best method to rectify the problem.

Whilst I have your attention what would you suggest as being the best finish?

The turps will all dry out and won't affect any finish.

estapol 7008 2 pac is the best

Thanks very much for the responses - particularly given it's good news - I sincerely hope you are correct.

The reason I used turps was because I figured it would dry without damaging the timber but I was told by a polisher (after the fact of course) that turps had oils in it that could cause a problem - the best treatment being kerosine.

Maybe I'll leave it a few weeks - might even need the heater on before sanding etc.

Kero is the next thing to diesel - don't use it of the floor. Could be bozo was angling for a job replacing your floor after you stuff it up.

Its the other way round. Turps is clean, Kero is oily.
