Strange Goings On

Has anyone experienced this today.

Several times today I would click on a thread and it would say have ten posts in it but when I click on the thread link it would only come up with only say five or six posts. It wouldn't show the last posts and the only way I could get to the last post was to go back to the threads list and click on the link to the last post.

Barry, sometimes a new member still in moderation may make a post in an existing thread. Because they are under moderation they don't see the post and neither do you. Because they don't see it, they post again, and again, making the missing posts add up until a moderator fixes it. What thread was it? Do you remember?

The last one it occured on was Dean's "Gloaty Gloaty"

This is the interesting thing is it is the first time it has ever happened to me in four years.

It has occured at least six times today on various threads.

Yes. Just occured on Burnsy's "A Lesson Learned". When I clicked on the thread link only the first post came up.

I am just wondering I changed a few settings in IE this afternoon. Maybe that is it.

Problem fixed I just changed a setting in IE.

Sounds like what I did yesterday.. unclicked the auto update... had me puzzled for a while.
