removing paint spots from floor?

despite using drop sheets there are a few spots and smears of acrylic paint on the newly coated floor. :doh: Any safe way of removing them, the floor is poly coated. Some of the spots just are just popping off with gentle pressure but the smears are a bit different...

I had success with a bit of metho and a rag to get the paint off my floors. Same situation, acrylic paint on poly coated boards.
