I've been away since last Wednesday but when I just checked new posts there were only 2 pages of posts - I don't think so! So how do I now search for all posts since last Wed. I tried using advanced search for posts within the last week, but is there no wildcard to use to get all posts??

Cheers
Michael

AFAICT, you can't. :(

I've been raising the same question every 12 months or so on the off-chance that someone has worked it out.

Thanks Al, are you having a feminine moment? I mean, I ask a question and you give me the answer for a different question. But I do appreciate your help.:U :U :U

Mic, at the moment there is no facility within the vbulletin code to do a search based on date. If you really want to you could set the forums to only display threads from the last week in your user options but you would still have to go through each individual section anyway as it is not really a search but a limiting display feature.

I have had this problem before too and after a while you just sort of let it go. especially when after only a week away there is something like 200-300 threads to look at.

Only two pages since last Wednesday? I got 9 pages from the past 12 hours or so. Might be some variable in your user profile, but I have no idea what it might be. What does your Welcome box say about your last visit? I've had a similar problem when the program or site goes off the rails, and when re-attached it resets my last visit to a more recent time, even though I'm still logged in, so I get fewer pages; then I boink "Todays Posts" and have to figure out where my last visit was. (Todays Posts = past 24 hours, I'm told.) Would be nice to be able to manually revise "last visit" but could also cause all sorts of problems.

All in all, though, with several days' of posts to wade through, it'd probably be easier to view each sub-forum separately.
