Old Chamferboard Question

Hi,
We have an old home built between 1874 and 1974 (lots of renovations over the years).

Two of the oldest external walls of the house are made of 14” Chamferboards.

I'm curious to know if this size of chamferboard was common in older homes.

We have been lucky they are just about all in good condition.

14 inch chamfer boards? I doubt you could replace them today without gluing up boards. Lucky they're in good condition.

I come from country Queensland (grew up in Nambour) and I have never seen boards like this on a house. One can only presume that these were milled on site, given your location.
