Red Gum Finishes

I have used Intergrain Tung oil on Jarrah furniture with good results. Iam now trying to finish a red gum table using the same oil but Iam geting a streaking problem and poor finish. Does anyone know why or have a diffrent finishing method ?

Hi Lino

I'm not the most experienced person around on this subject, and nor have I used tung oil.
But I have used Organoil which is a natural product on various kinds of wood including redgum with great success.
