The wall between my bathroom and laundry has sheeting that can handle the moisture and right next to it paper covered plasterboard... The wet has got into the paper and rusted the metal plaster corner, swelled the plasterboard and cracked off some tiles. I've trimmed away the moist bits and cut off the metal above the top of the rust... exposed the underlying pine timber frame and now have to put it all back together again...
The pine seems ok and with a few dry days I reckon it'll be dried properly. Any suggestions for preparation products I should use or how to reinstate the wall so I can replace the tile would be hugely appreciated.
I'm sure these photos will tell you more...
