Aussie poll published over the weekend says there is pretty solid support for a single currency. Could you guys send some over so we can have a play with it, get to see what it looks like, you know, sort of look & feel... Coupla thousand would be good for starters:2tsup: :2tsup: .

10c is the smallest New Zealand has now. Was a little bit of a shock when I went in Janurary earlier this year.

No, no.... I made a bold assumption that the Aussie dollars would become the new Anzac stuff... and then thought it might be nice to have some to play around with in advance of the deal...
Quite so, Wendy, got rid of the 1c and 2c and the 5c, made the 10c bronze.... downsized the 20c and 50c.... If we end up all electronic I don't suppose the design of notes and coins is anything to lose sleep over.

As inevitable as I believe in Australia becoming a republic, I also believe NZ and Oz will form a single ANZAC country. Then State of Origin matches will be GGRRREEEEAAAATE. New Austland will be absolutely the Champions of the World for years in rugby (both brands) cricket and so much else. :o The only change to make: "teach the new island state(s) the correct pronunciation of vowels".

Got to happen, Soth. 4m people is a bit like a 400 acre "farm". Might have worked in the 30's but not an economic unit now and hasn't been for years.... There's a few entrenched issues that's got to be dealt with to say the least. Fush? Fushing? Caught sux fush yesterdee.. Got a bit wit doing ut.:2tsup:
