I've recently upgraded my mobile phone to a Treo 650 (I needed the extra goodies in it). But it has a problem communicating with my Bluetooth hands free kit in the car. It's one of those Blue Ant portable units, a Supertooth II.

It will use the Supertooth when i dial out but won't use it when i receive a call. The phone rings instead of the Supertooth.

I've asked the support team but got a response which didn't even make sense. I've googled without much luck too.

Anybody had a similar issue?

I'm wondering if it's the phone or the Supertooth which has the problem.

ISTR that there is a real problem with the implementation of bluetooth in the Palm 650 - for example, you can't use a voice dialer with a bluetooth headset. So I would suspect the Treo rather than the BlueAnt.

In the meantie there are some good forums on the Treo - try My Treo (http://mytreo.com/drupal/?q=forum) as a start.

I am about to consider upgrading to a Treo 750 after 2 years using the 650 - mainly because I need a more Windows compatible system to tie in with the system at work.

Cheers
Jeremy

Thanks Jeremy.

What really confuses me is that it has been working :? But no amount of reinstalling the device etc will get it back.
