Hi all
(happy friday)
Been laying click flooring at the daughters - now reached the junction of slate tiles 7/16 or so thick.
So how do I "finish" the click flooring against the slate?
It's easy at the room edges - just cover with skirting - but this is right in the middle of the floor.
Any ideas please?

Get a peice of nice matching wood and rebate the back on each side so it sits with a thin lip over the boards and the slate?

I would second that option, I nice matching piece of solid timber to bridge the gap.
I have also seen a piece of metal, usually brass-looking or stainless steel, to bridge the gap.
You could use something to match in with the skirting you are using, that would look good too.:2tsup:

Hi all
You can get an aluminium pce that sits under the floor ( same sort of thing as for tiles) except it has a wood look pce that clips into it to cover the gap. It comes in colours to match the laminate floors. Its about 40-50mm wide.
It has a bit of movement to allow for slight variance in floor heights, I used it between tiles and the click floor - paid 10mtr
You should be able to get it from the floor shop.

G'day. Use 12mm thick Cork Expansion.
All the installers of real timber floors use it against tiles.
