Search?

Not sure if this is the right section, but can anyone explain why lately I cannot do a global search for a topic anymore?
I used to be ble to do a search from the home page and now I cannot unless I go into each seperate catagory?

The forum search button is still in the bar at the top of every page and the google search is at the bottom of every page (at least it is for me??)
