floating floor query

Iam about to lay 50 sq M of floating floor, the specification calls for vapour proof tape to seal (join) the plastic sheet used as a vapour barrier

what is the correct tape to use for this and is waterproof cloth gaffer tape the correct choice?

Your tape should be OK.

Good quality (not Crazy Clarks) 200MPH tape works great.

Just make sure you use a tape with minimal stretch or you may have a problem.
