I am going to use 170mm diameter bush poles on the deck, standing 5.4 metres above ground level.
The builder who is helping me out reckons that the concealed post anchors are the go, they are the ones that look like shark fins. The reason he wants to use post anchors is because of the expansion of the bush poles in wet conditions.
My problem is that the biggest I can find are only 70mm wide, which is not even half the size of the pole.
I have checked the Pryda website, and that is the biggest they make.
Is this going to be big enough? Are there other anchors on the market that are made specially for bush poles?
Cheers
Jayson.
