Hello all, hope someone can help me here.

I have the above window in my bathroom and the glass is sliding out so I tried to remove the window to fix it and I can't get the damn thing out. Have removed the hinge screw from each side but it feels like there is something else holding it in there, can't see anything else in there though.

I looked at the Stegbar site... no help unless you are looking for a NEW window. I also did a search here but found no similar problems, probably because it's something simple that I haven't found...lol

I hope it doesn't involve removing the winding mech and opening the window right out as I have a post for the carport that prevents this... :(

HELP...:2tsup:

Thanks in advance. BTW, I'm new here, please be nice...lol
Great looking site, lots of handy info.

I think you have answered your own question Stumbles. I have the same or similar windows on my place and once you disconnect the winder the window swings fully open and unhooks from the top pivot hinges.

There are other makes which have 'slide' hinges in the window-edge rebate but I think they all must be fully opened for removal.

Bugger... I'll just have to knock the bottom back up and screw it together.

Thanks for the reply.
