I have 1800 high core filled rendered block piers which I intend to fix 50x50 hw to in the vertical position, and then fix horizontal slats inbetween each block pier.

Questions is; what is the best method to fix the 50x50 to the block piers?

Either dynabolts or chemsets. You could use a powder charge activated fastener (ramset) but the cost of hire would outweigh the speed/time benefit. If you have a hammer drill then dynabolts would probably be the ost cost effective method. You could use spaghetti and nails, but I'm not sure the holdiong power would be there.

Another way would be use countersunk Nylon Anchors There are few various types and come in various lengths.

If you really want them to hang on use some Maxbond adhesive in conjunction with the nylon anchors.

I have used Chemset like Mick suggested and can vouch for it being good gear.

Plastic plugs and gal/stainless screws is another option. The ramset nylon knock-ins are also good.
