The sites colours seem to be a lot brighter, cheerier, and crisper. Looks good. (Go on tell me they haven't changed). Some of the icons have changed though, haven't they?

Maybe the Grandkids have playing with the buttons on the computer screen. Don't look any different to me.

Some of the buttons and colours have changed, it all depends on the forum skin you are using.

Is there an abbreviation for these terms?

Therer have been some pretty big changes to the forum styles. Many of you may not have seen them yet because your browsers are showing you a chached version.

:aro-r: http://mt0.woodworkforums.com/images/button2/newthread.gif (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=58) http://mt0.woodworkforums.com/images/button2/edit.gif (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=436498) http://mt0.woodworkforums.com/images/button2/quote.gif (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=436498) :aro-l:
If the buttons look like this :aro-u: you are seeing the new version. If not you are seeing the chached version. You can clear the cache in most browsers by holding down the Shift key and hitting the refresh/reload button on your browser.

Yeah,

Neil, I think, I think that it's fair to say I always buy out of these "changes to our forum" sorts of arguments, but this time taking away the nice soft blue skin is going WAAAAAY too far! :wink: :; :;

I actually find the yellow one quite tiring to use, but since I assume it's just temporary while you get the blue one really, really pretty I won't say a thing!

Many thanks once again for all the effort, (even if we don't all immediately jump over the moon about change!):2tsup:

Cheers,

P

Midg, Harry and all you other blue pagers - The change has been made so all can have the use of iSpy on the top menu bar between New Posts and Search.

All forums are now defaulting to this and although you can still use the blue screen if will drive you nuts with the screens changing colour back and forth each time you go into a new forum.

The blue screen will make a reappearance again at a later date but there are many, many hours of work to update it before it comes back and for now there are more important fish to fry.

To everyone seeing then new setup for the first time.. The major colour scheme has been running as the forum default for about 3 years now so most of it is far from new. It is mainly the headers and buttons that are new.

Any more complaints craigb or does craigy need another :realbighug:?

PS If it's yellow you had best change your colour settings, as the bulk of it is pale camel and light cream colours.

Well, almost entirely. :-

(I was hoping you'd have forgotten about the smileys. :D )

I meant I agreed with him regarding your hard work, and the blue forum skin.

Cheers

G'day Neil,

The bright blue colour used for the topics under the sections (as they were yesterday and a few previous to that) was throwing my eyes off the deep end, much better now with the colour change. :2tsup:

Neil

How do you change back to the blue. I can live with the threads changing colour but looking at the baby crap colour all the time as midge say really gets to you.

There used to be a drop down box to pick from but it seems to have disappeared.
