Woke up this morning to thick smoke blanketing our area, Bendigo, from the bushfires in the NE. If it is this bad here one can only imagine what is like for the people in the area, my heart goes out to them and all the firies fighting the fires.
They are the real unsung heroes, and most of us don't make their job any easier by doing all the preparations we are supposed to before the fire season starts.:(
I hope that all this will be over soon, certainly by Xmas.
