Saw on Sky News they are bringing the original 707 back to Longreach. Look, I'm not given to emotion, much, but what a sight when it did a low pass over the airfield as it started the trip back! This is pretty cool.

Ahh the Qantas one not the Point Cook 707. She is back there now in the RAAF Museum:D

Abandoned at Southend (UK) I think. I haven't been able to establish where it has been since 1974 when Qantas traded it in... Africa, South America... gun running no doubt...
