1 wood floor 2 different surfaces - help

I have just purchased a heap of Bamboo T&G flooring 15mm thick and pre finished at auction really cheap, for my reno's

I have layed a floating floor B4, so I think I have that side of it covered, I plan to direct stick the bamboo.

I plan to put it in the Kitchen and Lounge / hall. The floor base is a concrete slab. the slab was layed in 1971/2 so I think the moisture levels should be fine.

The kitchen has lino and is open plan into the lounge which is tiles. From memory I think the kitchen is slightly lower than the lounge.

My thoughts were to lay some ply on the kitchen floor to bring its level up and lay the boards directly over the tiles and the ply.

Questions:
1. what glue can I use to stick the ply to the lino?
2. what minimium thickness of ply can I use?
3. should I pull the lino up? or would this act as an added moisture barrier?
4. do I need any moisture barrier over the tiles?
5. what other prep do I need for the tiles other than clean and sand back a bit. - what glue should I use on the tiles?
63 when I am gluing them what method do I use to hold them tightly together as I go?

Celeste, given the white ant problem, in the Perth area I would suggest you consider "Hardiflex" cement sheeting available in varying thicknesses, rather than plywood. I have recently done our study and entrance hall with the study being 9mm lower than the hall (tiled). I raised the study floor with double 4.5mm Hardiflex stuck down with liquid nails, and glued the timber directly to the hardiflex and tiles with sikaflex which remains flexible forever.
