Not long ago and far away, Santa was getting ready for his annual
trip but............................................... there were
problems everywhere. Four of his Elves had caught the pox and
couldn't get into work. The apprentice Elves could not produce the
toys as fast as their fully trained colleagues so Santa was beginning to
feel the pressure of being behind schedule.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her Mother was coming to visit. This
stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the Reindeer, he found that even though they
were still teenagers, three of them were about to give birth, two had
been arrested for suspected dealing and of course, Blitzen still had
the ASBO hanging over him. More Stress.
Then, when he began to load the sleigh, one of the boards cracked and
the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered all the toys (which
settled in all the Reindeer sh*t).
Totally hacked off, Santa went into the house for a Capuccino and
Whisky chaser. When he went to the cupboard, he found that the ailing
Elves, who all had nothing better to do, had hit the bottle already
and there was nothing left.
Santa really had the hump now. In his frustration, he dropped the
coffee pot and it broke into a million little pieces all over the
kitchen floor.
He went to get the broom and found that the mice had eaten the straw
it was made from.
Just then the doorbell rang and as he stomped his way to the door,
santa cursed and swore. He opened the door and standing there was a
sweet little angel holding a great big Christmas tree. The angel said
"Where would you like to put this tree, fat man ?"
And that my friends, is how a little angel came to be on top of the
Christmas tree.
