Hey all,

I have only recently heard of a product called Aristocrat Liquid Gloss (or something). It's a pour-on thick clear liquid that self-levels. Apparently it dries and produces a finish that is equal to 50 coats of poly.

Does anyone know where to buy this stuff?

Much appreciated.

Thanks Dave,
That's a bit closer to home. I'll give them a go.

Geez its cheaper at Bunnies than that! I'll be buggered, finally they're cheaper than someone else without having to be.

You might try a product called clear badgeing epoxy from fibreglass suppliers. We get it from FMS, it is two part and sets beautifully clear and hard. I use it to penetrate and hold fine cracks in burl before I start cutting. Good luck.

The aristocrat product is distributed by photogloss who are in queensland outside of gympie, just off the tin can bay road.

They do mail order.

details not handy.

There are a number of similar products. Definitely funky stuff.
