View Full Version : A problem with Firefox?

I've just installed V2 of Firefox, and I have a problem! (Not unusual for me...)
Everything seems to work well except when I'm on this forum - and the problem is only with illustrations. When I click on a picture (or other embedded object) I can see it fine, but when I try to get back to the original thread I get thrown back to the main browser window.
It gets very frustrating having to go back to my URL's, get back to the WWF and find where the hell I was before I started.
Any clues please?
It's gotta be something simple - I'm a simple man.

Sounds like you are closing your all of your windows.

When you open a photo it normally opens in a new tab.You should have to only close this tab.

If you look at the top of the page you should see a row of little boxes with the names of the pages, you just need to close one of those rather than the whole lot.

I tried FF v2 and uninstalled it within a day. There seemed to be quite a few bugs in it that I couldn't be bothered dealing with.

Gotcha DJSTimber. I hadn't set up the 'always show the tab bar option' and was of course shutting down the lot. One simple tick in the right place and it's working again.
Thank you very much...
