Has anyone had any experience with exterra ?
I have termites in the garden, a fair distance from the house.
An inspection has confirmed that the house is termite-free.
The exterra people propose installing about 20 bait stations around the house. It appears to be a good product (but not cheap!).
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who is using exterra.
What do you think of it? Did you consider any other products?

We had about 10 stations put in. Most of them didn't end up with anything in them but he got activity in a couple at our place and one or two at the house next door. The baits are about $80 a pop. They usually want to put you on a contract.
The reason we put them in was because the house was old and had not been built properly to keep the bastards out. So the only option was to try and kill them in the nest. These things wont prevent termites from getting into your house. What they will do is give the termite guys a chance to poison them before they do.
There's no sense trying to kill every termite near your house, you'll never do it.

Alot cheaper and better than the yank crap.
A box of 24 stations wuld be alittle over $200, how does that stack up?

can you just supply them for a DIY installation?

I cannot supply you with the bait.Thats for licenced pest managers only.
But any pest control co can buy the bait.
I can supply the stations for you to install yourself.
This is the good thing about Nemesis.
You can check it yourself.
No contracts and just ring some-one when activity is found.
The bait is australian made and if you have checked out my site, you can see that is works.
I have used all types of baits and this is the only one that is cost effective and works.
Thats my advice to you.

to send some to Brisvagas, you will have to contact me by my website, www.bugzap-pc.com (http://www.bugzap-pc.com) with your postcode.
Ah yes, my pride and joys! my stick insects.
I am trying to breed them now, but will be a fair wait for the eggs to hatch.
They are native to your part of OZ.
Kids love them
