Apparently one only has to be unemployed and a teenager to obtain a $365k mortgage in Canberra...

Wish list so far is
Vicmarc or Polewood lathe.
Big set of hollowing tools
Big set of chisels--i.e set of 20-30
Chunk of snakewood
etc:
365,000?? Still have a fair bit left over, well then I'd have to hold a forum barbecue, and then I'd have to go to carbatec, and just look at everything agian for the millionth time, and buy whatever else meets my fancy
SNAP OUT OF IT!!
Don't worry, I'm awake:D

Maybe you have to be of a particular breed to get one of these loans?

What pisses me of is that they are slamming the mortgage broker mercilessly. Fair enough, he should have known the guy couldn't repay the loan but what about the guy himself.
I'm sick to farkin death of idiots blaming someone else for their misfortunes. On the radio he admitted being knocked back several times by banks and others. Then he finds a bloke who'll stich him up and then moans to the world. The guy is a tosser and a loser. I have NO sympathy for him at all.

:D Not really.
I'm just so off at this attitude that somebody always has to pay if something doesn't go just the way they wanted it.
It really is costing us all a ####load of money in our insurance premiums. Don't think for one minute you are immune, you aren't. High court payouts etc, we all pay in the end.

And it doesn't even stop there, Gov't & insurance co. led workers comp scam in NSW for midsized businesses is a scheme the Sherriff of Nottingham & his Boss John woulda thought was far too audacious.
We all lose because of these wukkfits.
