ok, i am an idiot. i was supergluing my glasses frames together and left them on my wifes 3 month old kitchen bench. Needless to say it ran and now there is a small 5 cent sized patch on her new benchtop. It is your standard Jason Blue type laminex top. I'm not sure what to use and am worried firstly that it wont come off and secondly whatever i use will mark it.
To say she wasnt happy is a bit of an understatement, i'd really like to have my "two boys" sewn back on so if anyone out there can help me........

Chloriform dissolves superglue no problem. Guess there are more common removers on the market that should work well too.

You can try nail polish remover. Unsticks stuck fingers, removes false nails etc. 'Specially etc.'s :)

Wife, a nurse, says that they use ordinary soap to unstick superglued fingers in casualty. Apparently its a fairly common occurence - supergluing finger and thumb together.
