Just tried to add add a post about IE7 to the thread (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=39242) started by Craigb a couple of days ago. Problem is that now I have installed IE7 as soon as that particular thread is opened I get that strange little login box popoup then straight after that explorer says it has to close and asks if I want to send an error report.

The first time I saw the thread I was on IE6 but still got the login popup (like in scooters pic) but I could close it and continue reading.

(What I was going to add to Craig's thread was that if you're using a Logitech cordless mouse you may need to remove the mouseware software to get smooth scrolling via the scroll wheel.)

That's pretty spooky.

Does it only happen with that thread?

It's ok, it's not just IE7! (I did get into it with 4.6 though!)

Opera, Firefox and Safari also suffer on that thread!

I don't know why we need to log into treasures on plenty but I think Oz has a lot to answer for!

Cheers.

P:eek:

Yes, and only when opening the thread from a search, using the link in my post does not seem to cause a problem.

Seemed to me to be something to do with the stats Al had posted there from the Treasures on Plenty site.

Mentioned it to him yesterday at the TWW show. I reckon it'd be better for us all if he just have us the password... ;)

Oz has code in the stats he posted that tries to display an image from his password protected stats page, so it asks for login
