pedagogue?..... as in 'a pedantic teacher'?..... or paedophile, as in evil filth who likes to hurt children?

Of course you have to talk to them in a very subdued manner, talk quietly, talk as if you know what is going on.
Then you have to let them down sloooowly, and gently, not too quickly otherwise the get agitated, and will demand to know what you know.
And seeing as you know SFA they turn into a rageing mess. :D

As per Clinton, Do you really mean pedagogue? Ok, being pedantic can be a pain, but it's not that bad. The other variety mentioned by Clinton don't come even close to being in the same equation. Plastic pipes and barbed/razor wire springs to mind...

Sorry peoples, just a bit bored and all was quiet, I received an email from him in relation to a letter he circulated about his title, it seems that a semi literate beaurocrat took umbrage at his self confession of being a pedagogue and started the ball rolling about this type of person being allowed within the education system.
His resignation was called for before the teachers union took said idiots to task who appeared not even to have viewed the said correspondence.
Several red faces from what I can gather.

This almost caused me to spill some very nice Pinot Noir. The bloody morons! Is one to believe that these blasted beaurocrats dodn't know the meaning of the term 'pedagogue'? God's teeth!

I believe that the original joke concerned a pedant and the moves that were taken against him by a boss before the term was explained to said boss. (no apology was forthcoming)

Or the poor Washington DC administrator who complained his budget was niggardly (a Scandinavian term meaning cheap or miserly) and the local ethnic chaps tried to force his resignation. After a bit they just said "never mind, just kidding.":o :o :o

Sorry. Becoming pedantic.

What absolutely gob smacks me is the number of public servants who don't think to consult google.
If they would have googled Dr Patell there would have been no DR Death scandle & a whole lot of suffering would have been averted.
cheers

You're right, I believe they mainly have fast growing Serial Monogamy, with patches of Poygamy not uncommon.

Hmmm... My Pedagogue (Aussie Bicycling Tours: Places To Avoid) says Kuranda is known for it's expanses of monotony. Typo? It also mentions something about large numbers of expatriate Kiwis but I don't believe that... surely not all their fathers are dead?
Anyways, I only bought it for thr front cover; it has a big red button with DON'T PNAIC! printed across it. It works... I haven't pnaiced since buying it. :)
