In another thread, bennylaird claims that his current avatar is a picture of a drunk, passed out on a bench.
This is not only untrue, it is a great calumny upon that noble race, the Irish. The attached picture reveals the full truth.
In it you will see Yogacharya Iyengar who, having spent many decades training his body to achieve amazingly spectacular feats of contortion, can lie on a raised bench, completely relaxed, with his head in contact with the ground. This position is known as Setubandha Sarvangasana.
Very few people would be game to attempt to emulate this remarkable act. However, nothing is beyond the Irish and you can observe just how successful, with the benefit of a couple of pints of stout and a tincture or twain of Cork gin, Conor Fitzpatrick O'Shaughnessy of County Sligo has been.

I knew I should have copyrit that pic! :D
The internet is an interesting place, I originally had the two shots emailed to me about a year ago. In it's original form the photograph was reversed and had a lot more detail in it(I gather they'd been doing the rounds for a while before that).
I flipped the photo image and cropped it a bit to make the two pics the same size, and posted it on this very forum http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=38012 Interestingly, within a FEW DAYS, someone had sent me my handiwork by email!
All of this is necessary to get to the point. I alone know the truth behind this photo. The pair in the photo had been preparing a meal for their rare and highly endangered pink elephant Seamus, when it was startled by the sound of a mobile phone ringtone, and bolted up the tree.
As one can observe from the photo, Paddy (seated at the table) was nearly inconsolable. His best mate Mick, decided to try to see if he could see Seamus up the tree and felt the best way to do that was to site along the trunk.
At exactly that time, a passing papparazzi, (who it turns out was the owner of the errant phone and the cause of all this trouble), snapped the above shot.
The spirit-powered camping stove these chaps used to warm the elephant food is neatly cropped out of the picture, and I hadn't thought till now that the empty bottles which had once held fuel for the stove, and one of Mick's toy rockets (another hobby) may well have given some the wrong impression.
I apologise unreservedly to all who may have formed the wrong impression from this photograph.
