Just a short announcement to say that I do not expect to be able to communicate with forum members over the next six months.

Janet & I are pleased to say we are again visiting Oz. arriving 26th Sept. and staying as a guest of forum member Echnidna at Garvoc 200 kms west of Melbourne.

Auld Bassoon has kindly lent us a laptop but most probably I will not be on the web because we will be using a mobile (when a sim card is obtained).

I intend to spend my time fishing, painting and hopefully taking up the game of bowls which we noticed was popular in Oz.

Naturally Janet & I will be operating the TV switch when test matches are taking place as on the last test series which produced a successful outcome.

To all members that have sent us invitations to call on them whilst in Oz. thank you all again and when mobile is up and running and any known travel arrangements can be made naturally I will respond again.

Thanks to all friends and members again.

Tat ta for Now John.

Not sure where that place is, but if you get the chance go for a few walks in the Grampians, just came back from a week there and had a good time. And the walk upto Baronia peak is worth it.

Grew up up that way but never heard of it? Is that the name of a town or a property?

Ah ok down south near Timboon......

You will be able to see the demise of the Pommy cricket yet again, maybe another set of ashes as its dies another death.

Nothing if not caring:D :D :D

Migh need a lot of social workers to calm the Barmy Army as they cry in our beer.:D :D :D

Actually lovely part of the country to enjoy down that way, far enough away from Windy Warrambool. Port Fairy is the go for a day out and some fushing.

Sister lives in Dunkeld on a farm just a bit further north, foot of the Gramps or is that the new name Guna something or other?
