I'd just make up a wooden frame and fit architraves inside and out.

Yep pulse is on the hammer here only I would pop rivet the hose/pipe on.

Not that wooden architrave does not look good just not as fast or easy. But if you have the time and the wood go on have a play.

Are you puting a roof over the tank or is it in fair nick as far as that goes??

thanks guys poly pipe is the go bugger is Ive got 200 m back in Adelaide and none here. Grand Kids due in 2 weeks. Damn mutter mutter fitz gritzrim rim stuff it and the bloody prices they charge here too. Its got the original flat lid on and covered that in with spare sheet metal and silicone seal. Man farmers buy and use that stuff in bulk. Crazy to think its cheaper to buy 6 tubes than 3 seperately.

An aggy supplier? It's not unusual for 'em to have "scrap" lengths that some mongrel has driven over or dumped a load on, causing crimps or splits so they can't sell normally.

Come to that, any rural tip should have short lengths rattling around somewhere...
