I think we owe it to our Aussie born mates to teach them how to sing a song that doesn't end in oi oi oi.....;)

How will we know which plane the pommie team is on?
A
The one that keeps whining after the engines have stopped.

I heard Shane Warne quoted on the radio this morning as saying "...the team England are sending over is stronger than the one that beat Australia in the last series..":p
Let's just hope it's a competition rather than a whitewash either way..:D

Does being ocker mean you can't string words together into a song? If you don't practice it will be frustrating having to sit and listen to the poms over the summer win, lose or draw....;)

:p Singing songs at sport is a Pommy thing, maybe due to the boredom of soccer?:D :D
Just a few short outburst is all thats needed everynow and again rather than a full choir performance. Like "he's going home in the back of a Divvy Van", "Hadleys a W_nker" etc.
Traditionally it's just the winners who get to sing down here.:D :D :D

You've obviously never been to a local football derby iin England and heard some of the songs that are sung and the feeling behind them. The spontaneous ones are my favourite and some can be very funny.
That's a shame because singing generates a great atmosphere and can be quite entertaining in itself.
I've travlled 9 hours to get to an away game knowing there is a good chance we won't get a result, but regardless I'll support my team through song and have a good time doing it regardless of the score. You have to make the most of things...:D
