I guess you heard about this on Australian news channels. I wasn't home but Pam told me there was one Hell of a noise as the thing went over our house on it's way North. Shook the place - much worse than a low-flying fighter (not that we got those anymore). It disintegrated above Hanmer Springs - about 80Kms up the road - observed by the local Policeman. No reports of aliens taken in for questioning. It didn't worry the sheep.

So that's where my last turning landed. I really gotta remember to set the lathe to slow RPM before I start it up.

I suppose the blank vapourised on re-entry? Dang it, I lose more wood that way... :(

Very long old story going back some years on this forum.

One day, when all the paint is dry & the grass has grown as much as it can in one day, do a search on foil, foilie & include Al. :D
