Yes. It was a real pleasure lieing in bed listening to the rain on the roof. :)
Doesn't happen often these days. :(

What, lying in bed, or listening to rain? I don't get to lay about much these days :p

And here we all were thinking you WERE a layabout :D
Rain? Rain? About all we've been getting is enough to leave the washing on the line for another day and to remind me that the car does have some advantages over the pushbike. But don't worry, it'll be pithing down in Adelaide on friday night - both kids, my gf and her son and I will all be going to watch Adelaide United thrash whoever it is they're playing (provided Kossie starts Costanzo on the field instead of the bench  )

Actually, maybe it should be laying in bed? I've tried lying in bed but I'm totally unconvincing :o

Yep, 40+mm at Warragamba and still raining over the south coast dams.

Rain - wot's that - haven't seen too much up our way - fortunately not as bad as the blokes a little further west - mind you - the blokes way up north would probably like to see a little more of the sun.

No, you'd never get away with that.

Plenty of both up here, bright, clear, sunny days and 165mm of rain the other night.

G'day Mick,
Is that "Rain Farm" bottled water bloke still going up your way?
A few years ago I saw a TV program on how he harvested the rain, bottled it and then sold it on. Have not seen any in the supermarket for quite a while.
Regards,
Bob
PS Have you started collecting the animals 2 x 2 and building the boat yet?
:D:):D

Bob,
I don't know how the "rain farm" fared with the cyclone, otherwise he was going fine AFAIK. No need to collect the animals 2 x 2 just yet, that was only a good shower. We had 270mm fall in one night a few years ago, now that was rain! Things don't tend to flood unless we have a few weeks of constant heavy rain and I made sure I bought in an area not affected.

Well, I just looked at the site, and it looks like sydneys having a nice day.
Just look at Perth (http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR123.loop.shtml) will ya? Up near the top of the screen, theres a place called Yanchep. Somewhere in there, I'm typing away at this message. Yanchep's coping all the rain, and I just got my Parker 7000 fishing reel the other day!

Got a call from the folks down home and both tanks close to full after the down poor that Sydney and the south coast had. We had 40mm in that last bit of wet here. To think I was going to have to sell my rain gauge if we didn't get any. Had the add all written. Rain gauge for sale, As is where is never been used...:) :)
