Hi, Following on from my post last week 'Pool Decking', I'm looking to purchase approximately 100 Square Metres of hardwood decking.
Can anyone give me advice on where the best place to purchase this is in Sydney? Looking at Spotted Gum as this is what I have elswhere in my house.
What should I expect to pay per metre for this timber?

Regards
Stuart

Hi! Stu,
Try that place out at McGraths Hill? or Windsor, they are always advertising on the radio, or ring 2wsfm they should be able to tell you. From the ad they sell all sorts of wood and wood related machinery.

There used to be a timber supplier there in StMarys. Damned if I can think of the name ot though. There is Canalpie timbers there in North Richmond as well. Richard there might be able to hep you out. He will be in the yellow pages. I used to live in Richmond/Windsor till I moved up here. Just wish i could think of the bloke there in St Marys though.

Bought my spotted gum decking from Barrenjoey Timber
www.barrenjoeytimber.com.au
They have a proce list on the site - however you can do much better than the price they quote there.
