Freedom Kitchens

in syd, they are manufactered by a large company, the quality of the boxs are good but i think better value can be found else where.

I had a look at their new display at Windsor, shortly after it was put in. To be honest didn't see anything different to any other kitchen place. Like anything - shop around, get a number of quotes.

for our own reno about 18 months ago we priced both IKEA and Freedom and found that the prices (with me installing the kitchen) for what we wanted were almost approaching those of a custombuilt job. We opted for the latter and got exactly what we wanted plus IMHO the quality of materials, particularly the benchtops, and workmanship is far better. I saved some money by doing the plumbing, but I subcontracted the electrics.

I was a Freedom kitchen installer up until recently but have now pursued a different career path within the kitchen industry.

Working for Freedom Kitchens was a great experience. They are extremely customer focused. They are a large kitchen manufacturer and produce between 60 - 80 kitchens per week.

In my opionion, Freedom kitchens are absolutely great value for money. They are the only kitchen company in Australia who's cabinets have been tested and pass Australian kitchen standards (AFRDI) and International kitchen standards.

The quality of every kitchen is excellent. It is checked 3 times by quality control before it goes out of the factory. The factory is fully computerized and every job can be tracked in real time.

When you purchase a Freedom kitchen you can track the construction of your kitchen online. Every customer can check 3D views of their kitchen, check when it will be delivered etc.

The installer will complete a site check to make sure the kitchen will work in your space. He will then co-ordinate the demolition, electrical, plumbing, tiling, plastering and rendering.

If there is a problem while installing a kitchen (door or panel damaged) it will be delivered within 2-3 hours. If a benchtop has been damaged (by installer) it will be replaced the next day. Most installations are completely finished within 2 days.

And, they have been around for a long time. If something goes wrong or you require something replaced under warranty, it is nice to know that they will still be around.

Are you talking about a company called "Freedom Kitchens" or flatpak style kitchens from "Freedom Furniture"?

Will be redoing our kitchen within 12 months and am beginning to look around at all options.

Freedom Furniture do not make or sell flat pack kitchens.

I have both built new and renovated - both times i got quotes from "kitchen firms" and cabinet makers - the cabinet makers beat the specialist kitchen firms by a long shot (like $18K on the new kitchen) If you look around to work out what bells and whistles you want the cabinet makers can usually procure them and add them to the job.

the firm does the manufcatering in syd actual has to other brands they sell under. One is a trade brand the other is a up market custom, end of the day it still comes out of the same factory.
