Just started laying some tiles

how long before i cany walk on them after laying???

i did them on sunday and finished at 4pm

is 24 hours enough??

it was addflex adhesive by atlas allowing for flexibilty

i havent finished yet im getting the the hard part of going around the drain and laundy sink hole

I think its a minimum 24 hours before grouting, then another 24 or so until you walk on them, but don't quote me on that. I think I heard that on some reno show on TV once. Someone else more tile experienced may know exactly.

Depending upon the adhesive you use 24hours is ok. I use the 2 part Isoflex and do as you have done on one day then the cutting in the next day. Leave that 24 hiours then the grouting.
One of the best tools to cut tiles is a 4" angle grinder with a diamond blade.

hi guy i have used addflex tile adhesive from a company called atlas @ $35 per 20kg.

Can you also tell me will this be sifficient for small hairline cxracks in the cement???

Before i layed the flexible adhesive and the tiles i didnt do any prep for the cracks, well this is what the guy @ the tile shop maintained that the flexible adhesive would move if there was any movement in the slab therefore not cracking the tiles and not having to purcahse anymore products to prevent cracking.

Is this true or what is your method of laying tiles on a slab that has hairline cracks in it with some just a tiny bit bigger but still not bad cracks by all means

Jace,

All concrete has cracks in it, and flexible adhesive will be ok if they are stable hairline cracks, not a sign of short term movement in the concrete.

Why don't you do yourself a favour though, go back to the supplier and get some manufacturers instructions.
